Practically every news organization and aggregator on the Internet is overflowing with stories “looking back at 2014”.
I’m pretty sure George Washington didn’t take a reflective moment to “look back” on 1782.
I’m interested in looking ahead to 2015 and setting some new routines for myself, the company, and for the kind of work we do. I say “routines” and not “goals” because I’m also pretty sure George Washington didn’t wake up in 1775 with a goal of “defeat British by Q3 1776” taped to his bathroom mirror. So let’s be more like George Washington and make things happen.
Effective this Friday the first new routine takes effect. SuperPixel World HQ will actually be in a real headquarters and not the corner of my home. We’ll be moving into the Stutz Business Center in Downtown Indianapolis. The new mailing address will be:
212 W 10th Street, Ste. B-455
Indianapolis, IN 46202
There are three very good reasons for this move. One, I’ll be closer to hundreds of potential new clients coming through for the regular First Fridays art galleries and exhibits.
Two, I get to bike every day at a rate of about 100 miles and thousands of calories each week. That oughta get me in the best shape of my life.
And the biggest reason is we’ll be offering classes and workshops on a variety of web and marketing-related topics. Everything from how to make a PowerPoint presentation better to how to write for the web. And if no one wants to come, then we’ll just make up an excuse to host pitch-in parties instead.
As I write this post the office is still being assembled and put together, but it’s got a lot of nice touches. I’m really happy with where it’s going.
